The Stepping Stone Cycle

The Stepping Stone Cycle is an episodic series of cosmic horror novellas set in H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu mythos by Gary A. Ballard, the acclaimed indie author of the cyberpunk series The Bridge Chronicles. It was released as a series of novellas, each around 30,000 words, released exclusively as eBooks. The books are available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kobo and Smashwords. For more information on where to get your copy, see the Buy My Books page. All six novellas have been released, starting with First Stone. Compilation volumes of all six novellas is available, The Stepping Stone Cycle: The Complete Season One in eBook and paperback versions. The first four novellas are available as audiobooks as well.

Episode 5, The Empty Reflection Beckons and Episode 6, Stepping Stone, have just been released.

The Stepping Stone Cycle series is meant to form a television series with each novella representing one episode of that series. Read More About the Series Concept here.
